Continuing with our patriotic theme -- it's the Brown Bag Throwdown!! This morning, Julissa Ortiz orchestrated chaos between returning champions Tex Wasabi's and challenger Hangar 17. Who knew Howard Stern was starring in a local production of "Les Miserables"? Oh wait, I think it's Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. What? It's Slash from Guns n' Roses! No no no it was just our own Mark S. Allen, playing the part of a raven-haired beauty (as in female) in the El Dorado Musical Theatre's production of the Broadway smash hit. Sure, he's adorable -- but can he act?? Now, she can be proud of her beautifully tanned skin -- without having to spend a minute in the sun. U2 Asks Fans To Support Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi
As U2 kicks off its world tour, the Irish rockers are turning a spotlight on Myanmar's jailed opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi. On its Web site and on stage, U2 is asking fans to wear a Suu Kyi mask in support of the 64-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Madonna To Pay Tribute To Jackson In Concert
Madonna is paying tribute to Michael Jackson in the same arena where he was to stage his great comeback. The superstar is preparing a special part of her concert Saturday at O2 arena. Madonna publicist Liz Rosenberg says she is going to unveil a special choreographed dance in honor of Jackson. Michael Jackson was to perform his comeback concerts at O2 starting July 13. He died last week at 50. He had been rehearsing for those shows in his final days.
